Power Saving Circuit For Embedded Battery Applications

US Patent:
2020020, Jun 25, 2020
Filed:
Dec 21, 2018
Appl. No.:
16/229846
Inventors:
- San Mateo CA, US
Aaron O'Brien - Santa Clara CA, US
Rajesh Madhur - San Jose CA, US
Sameer Mysore Venugopal - Milpitas CA, US
International Classification:
H02J 7/00
H03K 19/0185
H03K 17/687
Abstract:
A battery-disconnect circuit may include a latch, a battery-disconnect subcircuit, and a power-enable subcircuit. The battery-disconnect subcircuit may be configured to control current leakage. The battery-disconnect subcircuit may be connected to the latch. The latch may be configured to maintain a power supply state of the battery-disconnect subcircuit, a no-power supply state of the battery-disconnect subcircuit, or both. The power-enable subcircuit may be connected to the battery-disconnect subcircuit. The power-enable subcircuit may be configured to switch the battery-disconnect subcircuit to the power supply state based on an enable signal. The power-enable subcircuit may be configured to switch the battery-disconnect subcircuit to the no-power supply state based on an off signal.

Systems And Methods For Detecting Fraud In Subscriber Enrollment

US Patent:
2017009, Apr 6, 2017
Filed:
Oct 3, 2016
Appl. No.:
15/284287
Inventors:
- Tampa FL, US
Aaron O'Brien - Tampa FL, US
International Classification:
G06Q 40/08
Abstract:
Systems and methods permit detection of potential fraud in subscriber enrollments. One embodiment includes a computing device associated with a provider and a database containing enrollment data. The provider computing device sorts the enrollment data into one or more benchmarking datasets and performs a recommendation analysis on each dataset to generate metrics. The metrics are used by a consolidation analysis to calculate benchmarks. The provider computing device utilizes the benchmarks to perform an indicator analysis that generates fraud indicators. A recommendation analysis processes the fraud indicators, benchmarks, and/or metrics to generates a flag indicating approval or disapproval of an enrollment.

Providing A Grace Period For Payment Of A Delinquent Advertising Account

US Patent:
2016004, Feb 11, 2016
Filed:
Aug 5, 2014
Appl. No.:
14/451574
Inventors:
- Menlo Park CA, US
Pratap Venkataram Prabhu - Sunnyvale CA, US
Marius Mircea Lazer - Palo Alto CA, US
Aaron Patrick O'Brien - Austin TX, US
Franklin Sarkett - Austin TX, US
Leonid Dubinsky - Redmond WA, US
Erica L. Sanders - Seattle WA, US
Leslie Kathleen Smith - Austin TX, US
International Classification:
G06Q 30/02
Abstract:
Methods and systems are described for identifying a likelihood that a client will provide payment for an overdue balance associated with the client's account and ranting a grace period to the client in which to provide the payment. This permits a client to provide payment for an overdue balance that may have been unintentional without an interruption of the services rendered to the client. Factors used to determine whether to grant the grace period include financial characteristics of the client's account. In the example of an advertiser using a social networking system to serve ads, social engagement of the advertiser can also be used to determine whether to grant a grace period.
