Virtual Local Area Network (Vlan)-Based Membership For Multicast Vlan Registration

US Patent:
8374182, Feb 12, 2013
Filed:
Aug 13, 2010
Appl. No.:
12/855860
Inventors:
Anish Mehta - Fremont CA, US
Soumen Biswas - San Jose CA, US
Sadiq Shaikh - Santa Clara CA, US
Assignee:
Juniper Networks, Inc. - Sunnyvale CA
International Classification:
H04L 12/56
US Classification:
370390, 370393, 370401
Abstract:
A network node that includes a memory to store a multicast forwarding table that contains entries that govern how multicast traffic is to be forwarded from a multicast virtual local area network (MVLAN) associated with the network node, to receiver VLANs associated with the network node, where each entry includes a multicast group, that is associated with a group of ports on the multicast VLAN via which the multicast traffic is received, and information associated with the receiver VLANs to which the received multicast traffic is to be sent. The network node also includes a processor to receive multicast traffic associated with a particular multicast group, via a particular port on the multicast VLAN; perform, using the multicast forwarding table, a look up operation, based on the particular multicast group, to determine to which of the receiver VLANs the multicast traffic is to be sent; and transmit the multicast traffic, associated with the particular multicast group, to user devices, via the receiver VLANs, based on a determination that the entry, associated with the particular multicast group, includes information associated with the receiver VLANs.

Air Separation Plant And Method Of Fabrication

US Patent:
5983666, Nov 16, 1999
Filed:
Oct 27, 1997
Appl. No.:
8/958239
Inventors:

Abstract:
An air separation plant having prefabricated heat exchanger and distillation column sections. The heat exchanger can be used in air expansion, waste expansion and product expansion plants by simply connecting the appropriate piping to the heat exchanger. The air separation unit is built up of standardized sections preferably utilizing structured packing. Simplified liquid distributors and supports are used in order to distribute liquid to the packing and to support the packing within the column, respectfully.

Air Separation Method And Apparatus

US Patent:
5711166, Jan 27, 1998
Filed:
Jan 22, 1997
Appl. No.:
8/787490
Inventors:

Assignee:
The BOC Group, Inc. - New Providence NJ
International Classification:
F25J 300
US Classification:
62650
Abstract:
A method and apparatus of separating air in which the air is rectified wig a single column nitrogen generator which produces a nitrogen stream which is expanded into a refrigerant stream and then taken as a medium pressure product. Oxygen enriched air can be taken as low pressure and medium pressure enriched air products. A stream of oxygen enriched air can be used to regenerate the pre-purification unit and also taken as a wet product.

Scalable Policy Management For Virtual Networks

US Patent:
2019015, May 23, 2019
Filed:
Nov 21, 2017
Appl. No.:
15/819522
Inventors:
- Sunnyvale CA, US
Anish Mehta - Fremont CA, US
Assignee:
Juniper Networks, Inc. - Sunnyvale CA
International Classification:
H04L 29/06
Abstract:
Techniques are disclosed for implementing scalable policies across a plurality of categories that support application workloads. In one example, a policy controller assigns to the plurality of categories tags specifying one or more of a plurality of dimensions. The policy controller distributes a plurality of policies to policy agents for the plurality of categories. Each policy includes one or more policy rules, and each policy rule includes one or more tags specifying one or more of the plurality of dimensions. For each policy rule, the policy agents allow or deny a traffic flow between objects that belong to categories of the plurality of categories described by the one or more dimensions of a respective tag of the policy rule.
