Originally from South Dakota, I am appreciative of Georgia's moderate climate. Even on rainy winter days, I smuggly remind myself that you don't have to shovel rain to get out of the driveway. In 1973, with a 2 year old daughter, hubby and I loaded up the U-Haul and headed south to adventure and prosperity in Sunny Atlanta! Within four days of arriving, my husband found the job he had been trying to land for five years in our hometown. We loved the history, the people, the food and the entertain- ment Atlanta offered. Thirty-seven years later, I still love Atlanta and The South and enjoy introducing newcomers to my favorite places.
