My husband and I moved here in 2004 from the Washington DC area to enjoy the Maine way of life as innkeepers ourselves and purchased the Kingsleigh Inn. After growing the business to where we had projected a bit early, we decided to seek out the "next inn". Being licensed in real estate in Maryland, I decided to obtain my Maine real estate license and list bed and breakfasts while my own inn was on the market. I became very busy, very quick and am a full time lodging broker. Too busy to do both jobs, "next inn" is on the back burner...
