Debbie Collins moved to the Denver area after graduating from the University of Illinois with a Masters degree to work as an engineer for Martin Marietta. She enjoys living in a place where there are friendly people and a multitude of outdoor activities. She and her husband owned horses and participated in the horse club at Martin Marietta for many years. Today one of her passions is tennis. She plays on several teams in Parker and is often found on a neighborhood court. Debbie has a rich personal history in real estate. In 1987 Debbie purchased 5 acres southeast of Parker. She worked with a designer to draw up the architectural plans and acted as the general contractor during construction. The house was a partially passive solar walkout ranch with an open floor plan and many cutting edge energy efficiencies. Due to the nature of the real estate market in the late 80's she rented her Littleton house after moving to Parker. She moved to Clarke Farms in 1998. Her children were on the Clarke Farms Tsunami's swim team and attended Parker Core Knowledge Charter School. Most recently, with her children grown up and on their own, she moved to a patio house in Idyllwilde. Debbie has always had a passion for real estate.
