Very good with people and children. Artistic, good eye for design, decor and decorating. Love to entertain, parties, fund raisers, weddings, reunions or trips. Love all sports and knowledge of most except for golf but willing to give it a swing! I may live on the mainland but I have had a house on the OBX for the last 27yrs and have a thorough knowledge of where the best restaurants are, gift shops, tour guides (been on most myself), tourist attractions, and other local hidden treasures. I love working with the tourist, I'm originally from VB and I worked at Souvenir City when I was 15 and then at the hotel Circa Del Mar when I was 17 as the desk clerk and night manager, Carmen Garcia owned it then. But then college, falling in love, married, kids and then work PT nights at Cameron Brown and in 6mos Branch Manager, Loan Officer in EC. I am currently working on getting my Concierge certification as I was going to go into business for myself, but then I saw your ad. This is what I want to do. I love working with people and arranging events and making sure they have everything they need and that the event goes off well. Over the last 2yrs I have been working with members in the TV and Film industry, particularly two shows, 1 produced in LA and the other in Charlotte. I also have friends in the industry in Wilmington. I've been trying to get them to come to the OBX when they're on a short hiatus instead of Wrightsville Beach. And I'm hoping to get one to do a premiere party here in January. I also have an indie band coming to the US I hope to get to do some venues here. I helped them get there first album released in the UK. Plus I also work with some of their charities, am currently working on getting an event to do for the Wounded Warrior Project. I also know alot of corporate and banking connections from our private investments and travels over the years. I've been working hard with others around the state to save the film industry incentives bill to keep the film industry here.
