I am Dustin Thacker. I reside in NYC where I work as a Consultant. I help people in the location, valuation, marketing, and negotiation of space. I’m a Spatial Agent, if you will. I studied Architecture at Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and Interior Design at UNC-G down south (back home). I like old maps, urban history, physics, memes, South African food, linguistics and Victorian ephemera. I collect Lowbrow Art, business cards and religious tracts. Have 2 dogs & 1 wife. In my free time, I am a practicing artist - utilizing mud, paint, photography, graphics, new media, sticks, metal, glass, stencils - just about anything I can get my hands on, to fashion new stuff. Conceptual street art and installations mostly. Poke around the internets and you’ll find some of my work. Currently working on programming a unique browsing interface for Real Estate listings that I am developing on an open source platform….stay tuned for more details.
