Urban Green (NYC Chapter USGBC)
The competition was a real time charrette where teams of four where given 3 hours to design and build a model for a conceptual solution that would green the rooftops of NYC public schools. My team included my friends Claudia Ray-Centeno and Daniel Goers as well as another participant assigned to our group. Judges: Gonzalo V. Cruz, ASLA, Associate Landscape Designer, AECOM Carly Jankens, LEED AP BD+C, Sustainability Consultant, Steven Winter Associates, Inc. Sarah M. Nugent, LEED AP BD+C, Sustainability Consultant, Steven Winter Associates, Inc.
