Experience:
36 years
Description:
Experience! It counts! First licensed in l976 as a New Construction Sales Representive. After selling New Construction for two years I partnered with another person and we became General Contractor/Builders. Over the course of 3 years we built approximately 40 single family homes and 22 twin homes (44 units). In 1978 we won the "Award of Excellence" in the Parade of Homes for our entry which was a new model/design not widely seen in the Minneapolis/StPaul market at that time. In 1980 we disolved the partnership and each continued to build separately. The savings and loan debacle of 1981-1982 convinced me to end the building career and strictly sell real estate. A wise choice?? Who knows? Over the course of the years I have assisted in youth programs including coaching hockey for 8 years, football 2 years and "T" ball for two years. As part of the local hockey association I developed a "Chemical Dependency Awareness Program" which produced positive results. In addition, along with Pete S.and Dick W., we broadcast on cable TV the local highschool and youth program hockey games for 6 yeares. Our broadcastteam won several awards for the effortfrom the cable station. In over 30 years of selling real estate I have never had a buyer foreclosed upon, never permitted a buyer to make an uniformed decision regarding all aspects of "their" transaction, whether location, mortgage choice, local shopping public and privateschools to places of worship. BUYING AND SELLING IS A "BIG" DEAL and should be treated as such. Educating the first time buyer or seller is More Important than anything in the transaction. Making good choices comes from knowledge.
