I have been serving the community for over 20 years with helping people with their lending needs. My approach has always be from an informative and knowledge base. Helping my costumers figure out what their needs and goals are. then finding the best direction for them to take. Since they will be making a big commitment to for fill their American Dream of new home ownership or re working it with a refinance. I try to focus on debt reduction and debt restructuring. I have functioned in a broker capacity for many years and I find the flexibility to be beneficial for my customers with searching for the best way to place the loan they feel with help them with their goals. We are brought up in this country to focus on interest rate a payment. Their is not much emphasis on how closed end loans work and understanding banking principles to learn how to eliminate your largest obligations, mortgage debt! I try to offer as much education on these principals along with the current product knowledge to help them with their decision. A lot of other loan originator use sophisticated spread sheets and software to razzle and dazzle the numbers. Not taking way form their accuracy, people make decisions on emotions. Throwing out coat bases and break even points, paying points, not paying points, etc. I feel refinancing someone over and over back to a 30 year note can be costly and not favorable to a borrowers. Of course I don't have all the answers and I can not possible know everything. But I do know borrowers would love to see a vision of having their loans PAID IN FULL. The sooner the better.
