Ana Maria Torres Scholarship

The Ana Maria Torres Fund is established in honor of Ana Maria Torres, a former Stony Brook employee, who tirelessly promoted opportunities for Hispanic/Latino undergraduate students during her long career here at Stony Brook. This scholarship is for qualified undergraduate students of Hispanic/Latino descent who show great potential for making significant contributions to the Hispanic/Latino community through their leadership. Criteria for this scholarship include financial need and merit.
First Alumni Award
Stony Brook University Alumni
Established by the Founder's Group, the first five graduating classes of Stony Brook (1961 - 1966), the First Alumni Scholarship is awarded to a full-time sophomore or junior who the pioneering spirit personified by many of the Founder's Group alumni. Preference will be given to promising students who are the first members of their immediate families to pursue a college education.

The Faculty Student Association Scholarship provides yearly scholarship support for undergraduates who are full time students, have been employed on campus through federal work study funds, and have maintained a 3.0 grade point average or higher every semester.
