Was chosen and nominated to attend the ISLP Diplomacy delegation to China in summer 2011. The program featured visits and talks with many individuals involved in diplomacy and government in China, as well as leaders of NGOs and universities in the country. The primary focus of the program was the continued and future relations between the United States and China and the impact those relations have on the international system.

My school newspaper, The Current, was voted as the best college newspaper in the state. I worked as a Web Editor and staff writer for the newspaper. This upcoming year, I will be the Web Editor, Sports Editor, and a staff writer for the paper.
