Abstract:
A cremation container foldable into a compact configuration for shipping purposes and unfoldable and erectable at its destination comprises a bottom, a pair of side walls pivoted relative to the bottom, a pair of end walls pivoted relative to the bottom, an angle interconnecting adjacent end edges of adjacent ones of the side and end walls, and a cover removably positionable atop the pair of side walls and end walls. A cremation remains container comprises a receptacle adapted to receive therein cremation remains, and a memorial plaque, adapted to be inscribed with an inscription of memorialization, movably mounted to the receptacle for movement to and between a display position exposing the plaque in view and a storage position concealing the plaque from view. The cover includes a transparent pane. A removable tray adapted to receive mementos of memorialization therein is included in the cremation remains container, is positioned adjacent the wall, is accessible via the cover and the mementos therein are visible through the pane. Optionally or alternatively the container may include a picture frame mounted to the cover whereby a picture placed in the frame is visible through the pane.

A method of equipping a preferred provider with pet death care products, services and information to be dispensed to pet owners comprises selecting a preferred provider and supplying the preferred provider with pet death care products, services and information to be dispensed by the preferred provider to pet owners. Preferably the preferred provider is an individual veterinarian or a network of veterinarians. Optionally the preferred provider could be an individual pet store or a nationwide chain or franchise of pet stores, or an individual pet cemetery or a nationwide chain of pet cemeteries. The preferred provider would offer the pet owner such products as pet caskets, urns, memorial markers and products, etc., and grief consoling printed matter such as children's brochures or coloring books dealing with pet loss, etc. The preferred provider would also offer the pet owner such disposition services as cremation and burial, and funeral or other memorial services, etc. The preferred provider would further offer the pet owner information about grief counseling and death/grief support groups, etc.

Abstract:

The lid comprises a pair of equal length lids positionable on the pair of side walls when the pair of side walls are folded onto the bottom and positionable between free edges of the pair of end walls when the pair of end walls are folded onto the pair of side walls.
