Abstract:
An elongate snowboard having a body which is characterized by a central region which, in transverse cross section is convex in relation to the way it faces a snow surface, first and second end regions each joining with opposite ends of the elongate central region and each of which, in transverse cross section is concave in relation to the way that it faces a snow surface, with the central and end regions collectively being characterized, as one looks at either broad face of the snowboard, by bilateral symmetry relative to both the central longitudinal axis of the board and to the central transverse axis thereof.

Abstract:
A modular tile and modular tile system is disclosed. The modular tile includes a base structure having a generally horizontal portion. Floor support members are positioned on a bottom surface of the generally horizontal portion. Upper column members extend above the horizontal portion of the modular tile. A cover is supported by the upper column members a distance above the horizontal portion thereby creating a chamber between the horizontal portion and the cover. The chamber is adapted to receive cabling therein.

In accordance with the teachings of the present invention, a helmet having interior ventilation channels is provided. In a particular embodiment, the helmet includes at least one protective layer configured to cover at least a portion of a user's head and a plurality of pads coupled to the protective layer, the pads defining a network of interconnected ventilation channels between the pads, the ventilation channels substantially covering an interior of the protective layer and allowing air circulation between the protective layer and the user's head when the helmet is worn by the user.

Abstract:
A wrist rest is disclosed for use with a keyboard. The wrist rest includes a bladder for holding a fluid, a pump operatively connected to the bladder for selectively filling the bladder with fluid and a valve for selectively releasing fluid from the bladder. The bladder preferably includes two elongate lobes interconnected by an isthmus. The lobes are shaped so that the perimeter of a horizontal cross-section through one of the elongate lobes is substantially elliptical in shape.
