Here is a little background about me that can help you understand how I can help you with your real estate transactions. I was raised in the Sarasota/Bradenton, where I attended elementary school in Sarasota and middle and high school in Bradenton. I grew up out in the Lakewood Ranch area before Lakewood Ranch or the interstate were there. Today, I am an avid boater and fisherwoman, which gives me in-depth knowledge of the local waterways. I volunteer on several fund-raising committees for Nate's Honor Sanctuary, a non-profit, no-kill animal rescue and shelter. I have a teenage daughter that attends a local high school, plays on the varsity volleyball team and also plays polo at the Sarasota Polo Club. This high level of community familiarity not only provides me with essential knowledge to assist you with your real estate decisions, but I can share all of the wonderful things the area has to offer. Prior to my career as a Realtor, I owned and operated a furniture import and distribution company. And for almost 15 years before that, I was a software engineer project manager for a top accounting firm and a Fortune 500 company. I attended the University of Florida and Florida Atlantic University, from which I earned a BA in computer information systems. I have listed and sold a variety of properties—from equestrian land in the Sarasota Polo Club to a condominium in Waterlefe, a golf and boating community. I also have extensive experience with short sales both on the listing and sale side and have helped several customers purchase new construction homes. My ownership of a company along with my project management experience provide you with an agent that is extremely detail oriented and has strong organization and communication skills, all of which are critical for successful real estate transactions.
