A drive line vibration absorber, for a mass elastic system having an engine operatively connected to a gear train through an elongated drive shaft, includes an inertia mass disposed in parallel relation to such mass elastic system and a resilient ring secured to the mass elastic system in axially driving cooperation with the inertia mass and permitting limited torsional movement thereof for effectively reducing the amplitude of the relatively low natural frequency torsional vibrations of the mass elastic system.

Abstract:
An apparatus and method for periodically cleaning the fins of a radiator of an internal combustion engine using a nozzle system with at least one nozzle directed toward the fins, and a cleaning agent delivery system connected to the nozzle system. The apparatus determines the presence of airflow resistance through the fins, generates an airflow resistance signal, delivers the airflow resistance signal to a control system, and delivers a control signal to the cleaning agent delivery system.

Abstract:
A dual flexible drive is pprovided between a torque converter and a transmission to compensate for parallel misalignment therebetween. The flexible drive includes a coupling having a drive tube with enlarged flanges and with laminated flexible plates secured to said flanges and to the output of the torque converter and to the input of the transmission. Pilot guides are provided between the inner and outer periphery of the flexible plates.
