Congestion Optimization During Synthesis

US Patent:
8024693, Sep 20, 2011
Filed:
Nov 4, 2008
Appl. No.:
12/264432
Inventors:
Jay K. Adams - San Carlos CA, US
Qingzhou Wang - Sunnyvale CA, US
Yong Xiao - Palo Alto CA, US
Assignee:
Synopsys, Inc. - Mountain View CA
International Classification:
G06F 17/50
G06F 9/455
US Classification:
716132, 716104, 716129, 716130
Abstract:
One embodiment of the present invention provides a system that optimizes a circuit design during a logic design stage to reduce routing congestion during a placement and routing stage. During operation, this system identifies a first circuit structure in the circuit design which is expected to cause routing congestion during the placement and routing stage. Next, the system generates a second circuit structure which is functionally equivalent to the first circuit structure, and is not expected to cause routing congestion during the placement and routing stage. The system then replaces the first circuit structure in the circuit design with the second circuit structure, thereby mitigating routing congestion during the placement and routing stage.

Sales Event With Real-Time Pricing

US Patent:
2007021, Sep 13, 2007
Filed:
Aug 1, 2006
Appl. No.:
11/497661
Inventors:
Hao Lee - Los Gatos CA, US
Yong Xiao - Union City CA, US
Michael Jianzhong Xue - Natick MA, US
David Wanqian Liu - South San Francisco CA, US
International Classification:
G06Q 30/00
US Classification:
705 26
Abstract:
Disclosed are apparatus, methods, systems, and computer program products for providing pricing options for a sales event of online shopping over a data network. In one embodiment, an item selection signal is received over the data network from a data processing device associated with a customer. The item selection signal indicates an item selected for purchase. Responsive to receiving the item selection signal, a plurality of pricing options is retrieved for the selected item. A graphical representation of the plurality of pricing options is generated for display on the data processing device associated with the customer. A pricing option selection signal is received over the data network from the data processing device associated with the customer. The pricing option selection signal indicates a selected one of the plurality of pricing options. A pricing outcome is retrieved from an outcome determination module. The pricing outcome determines a sale price according to a price and a probability of the selected one pricing option. The sale price is provided over the data network to the data processing device associated with the customer for purchase of the selected item.

A Point Clouds Ghosting Effects Detection System For Autonomous Driving Vehicles

US Patent:
2021032, Oct 21, 2021
Filed:
Jan 30, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/336888
Inventors:
- Sunnyvale CA, US
- Beijing, CN
Yong Xiao - Sunnyvale CA, US
Runxin He - Sunnyvale CA, US
Shiyu Song - Sunnyvale CA, US
International Classification:
G06T 17/05
G06T 7/00
G06T 19/20
G01S 7/48
G01S 17/89
Abstract:
In one embodiment, a system generates an occupancy grid map based on an initial frame of point clouds. The system receives one or more subsequent frames of the point clouds. For each of the subsequent frames, the system updates an occupancy grid map based on the subsequent frame. The system identifies one or more problematic voxels based on the update, the system determines whether the problematic voxels belong to a wall object, and in response to determining that the problematic voxels belong to a wall object, the system flags the problematic voxels as ghost effect voxels for the subsequent frame.

Proposal Processing Method And Related Products

US Patent:
2020031, Oct 1, 2020
Filed:
May 10, 2019
Appl. No.:
16/409750
Inventors:
- Hangzhou City, CN
Yu Cao - Tempe AZ, US
Yong Xiao - San Diego CA, US
International Classification:
G06K 9/62
G06K 9/00
G06K 9/32
Abstract:
Provided are a proposals processing method and related products for object detection, where the method comprising: determining a score threshold according to a statistics property of scores of a first quantity of proposal; selecting a second quantity of proposals with a score higher than the score threshold from the first quantity of proposals; and suppressing to the second quantity of proposals to get a third quantity of non-overlapping proposals with high scores, as such, time complexity for selecting a second quantity of proposals is reduced, and efficiency for selection of the proposals to be used for suppression is improved, thereby improving proposal processing efficiency and object detection efficiency.
